Information about the trainer/ course conductor

• Pediatric cardiologist with vast experience in fetal echocardiography
• Has been a teaching/ training faculty for pediatricians/ neonatologists and cardiologists/ pediatric cardiologists
• Has 46 plus international publications
• Trained by Mediscan in 2004 and worked exclusively in Fetal cardiology for 6 years at MediScan systems (2014 to 2020)
• Is a faculty in Fetal cardiology under National Board, SFM and PCSI
• Worked in most esteemed pediatric cardiac institutions in India (Madras Medical Mission, Frontier Lifeline Hospitals, Mediscan systems) and got trained abroad (Westmead Children’s Hospital, Sydney, Australia and Stollery Children Hospital, Edmonton, Canada)
• Is a research scholar working with IIT-M and other private R&D sector on application of advanced technology

1. The Hybrid Value Proposition

• Theory on Your Time: 12 Core modules delivered via our Digital LMS. No traveling for lectures.
• On-site experience: 6 “Scan-days” (two consecutive days in a month) spread over 3 months, to provide sufficient time to practice and improve during the course

 2. The Three Phase Mastery Curriculum

1. The Foundations, the Standard 2D sections, and Anatomy Correlation
2. Doppler application (color & pulsed)
3. Reporting/ interpretation of anomalies

3. Student Deliverables

•  Logbook/ assessment: Competency-based assessment – Recorded and reviewed.
•  Certification: By the trainer/ centre after completion of course upon passing the final practical assessment.

4. Enrolment

• Online enrolment
• Batch Size: Maximum 10 Students per batch
• Eligibility: fetal imaging specialist/ trainees with atleast 12 months of training in fetal anomaly imaging
• Schedule for live/ onsite training:  twice a month (total 6 days- includes final assessment day)
• Centre for live / onsite training: allotted centre of collaboration
